We are pleased to bring you the 2017 edition of the SUEZ Shareholder’s Guide. Inside you will find useful information about shareholder status, tax rules applicable to shares, and all the benefits and services you can access as a SUEZ shareholder. For the first year ever, an enhanced digital version of this guide is available on our website.

As in previous years, a large number of meetings took place in 2016, with the continuation of regular information and dialogue sessions with Group Senior Management. The Shareholders’ Club, which is still quite active, has offered its 13,500 members the chance to participate in nearly 40 events in France and Belgium: visits to industrial sites, financial training sessions, talks on the Group’s business lines, expertise and commitments, and more. Through advisory panel meetings and online surveys, we are continuing our large-scale project to hear from individual shareholders in order to better understand your aims. These privileged discussions proved extremely informative, and have resulted in a digital communication tool that was developed with best practices in mind, including the News@ctionnaires, which is published every two months as a supplement to the Letter to the Shareholders. We will also continue to promote the webzine for our Shareholders Meeting as well as the Shareholder Relations mobile application, so that you can access all the latest financial news from SUEZ on your tablet or smartphone.
